However, it’s crucial to give priority to natural foods, which are key to effective nutrition for performance and injury prevention. Similarly, you have to pay close attention to hydration, which is essential to avoid muscle fatigue.

This is applicable to all athletes regardless of their level: A certain professional activity may have specific nutritional requirements, but for an amateur athlete it will be enough to follow a balanced diet and ensure proper hydration. In the case of elite athletes, as their requirements will be higher, they will have a greater reliance on the correct diet for the development of their activity, which is why they typically require monitoring by a physician.
