Málaga CF and the protection of minors

Members of the Malaguista entity enjoyed an informative presentation on the Compliance System that has been developed within the Club's structure.

The various coaching teams within The Academy and the MCF School took part in a remote session this week on the new Compliance System Málaga CF have established within its internal structure.

This presentation, the first of those scheduled to be held throughout all Málaga CF departments, is part of the Compliance Prevention Model System that strengthens the Club and employees.

Lucas Rodríguez, MCF Foundation coordinator and Rubén Castillo, administration manager at the MCF Academy were in charge of welcoming everyone and introducing the speaker, Jorge Manrique Lara, lawyer and forensic economist, an expert in Compliance.

During the talk, Jorge explained the formation of the Compliance Supervision and Control Body. An independent and autonomous department within the Club, reporting directly to the judicial administrator of the Malaguista entity, José María Muñoz Jiménez. Its role is to ensure compliance with internal regulations and policies, in order to help all members of Málaga CF.

By developing a management system that facilitates compliance with the Law and internal policies, we want to protect and instil integrity, ethics, social responsibility, and fair play in our players. In addition, we want to continue with the work developed by the MCF Foundation and the professionals within The Academy in regard to Zero Tolerance with violence, discrimination, harassment, racism and xenophobia.

The Club will pay special attention and prioritise the protection of the rights of minors, especially young athletes within The Academy and the School.

Following the presentation, Lucas Rodríguez and Rubén Castillo thanked Jorge Manrique for his speech and stressed the Club's determination to improve all areas of training for the young players at The Academy.
