Women’s team returns to work on 2nd January

The Malaguista squad will return to training to prepare for the first match of 2019 against Betis Féminas.

The Christmas break got underway for Málaga CF Femenino on 23rd December and will continue until 2nd January, when the girls will return to work at the Federación Malagueña de Fútbol ground.

Antonio Conteras’ girls will resume competition on 5th January at 10:45 at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol ante el Real Betis Féminas. This will be the first match of 2019 and mark the start of the second round of Liga Iberdrola.

Despite the Blue and Whites ending 2018 with a defeat against FC Barcelona, the Malaguistas are in 12th place in the standings with 14 points, 4 points above the relegation zone.
