The 2ª And. Alevín and 2ª And. Benjamín will be participating in the Palma Soccer Cup in Mallorca on 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th December. The MCF Academy again features amongst top teams such as C. Atlético de Madrid, Valencia CF, Real Sociedad de Fútbol, RCD Mallorca and German sides Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The tournament will kick off with a Group Stage in a league format, in which the first four will qualify to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. The last three rounds will correspond to the ‘Final Stage’ taking place on 30th December. Regional TV station in the Balearics, ib3 TV will broadcast one semi-final match and the grand final.
The two Málaga CF squads are in the following Groups:
Benjamín:
Group D together with Atlético de Madrid, Atlético Balerares, La Victoria and Campusesport.
Alevín:
Group C together with Mallorca, Cide, SP Ciudad de Palma and Espanya.
