The MCF Futsal project couldn’t have had a better start this 2018/19 debut season in the 2ª Andaluza Senior Málaga futsal division.
The team, coached by Ettore Stecchini, has played a total of 13 matches, accumulating 13 wins making them the undisputed leaders. That is, 39 points in the standings and a +8 advantage over their main follower, La Asunción Málaga AD, who have a match in hand.
With two games remaining in the first round of the competition, the stats are unbeatable for the Blue and Whites. They are the highest scoring team, with 99 goals, and the team who has conceded the fewest, just 18. The average number of goals scored, 7.6 per match, demonstrates the effectiveness of a team both at home in Rincón de la Victoria and away. In an individual aspect, Fran Ramirez is the ‘pichichi’ of the competition with 34 goals (1 penalty), scored in 11 games, averaging 3 per match.
Following the winter break, MCF Futsal will resume the league competition away to CD Inter Málaga Fútbol Sala, at the mighty Ciudad Jardín pavilion, on Sunday 13th January 2019 (10:15).
