Weligton’s muscular injury confirmed

‘Malaguista’ defender, Weligton underwent a series of diagnostic tests today, Monday, which confirmed the muscular injury to his left leg, sustained in the match against Barcelona.

The Brazilian player underwent an MRI scan today at Clínicas Rincón at La Rosaleda stadium, confirming the injury to his anterior quadriceps muscle in his left leg.  The development of Weligton’s injury will determine his availability ahead of the forthcoming matches.

Weligton will begin his rehabilitation tomorrow, undergoing specific exercise in the gym, as the team returns to training at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
