Presentation of Atsu at La Rosaleda

Following his official presentation in the Club’s press room, latest ‘Malaguista’ signing, Christian Atsu, stepped on to the pitch at La Rosaleda for the first time, wearing the Blue and Whites’ shirt.

After the initial press conference with the sporting press, Atsu posed for the print media on the pitch at the Martiricos ground.  The Ghanaian showed his skills with the ball and presented fans at the stadium with a Málaga football and scarf.

Christian Atsu is the third player born in Ghana to form part of Málaga CF, after Arriki Owusu Afriyie and Awule Quaye; and is the fourth with Ghanaian nationality (the three aforementioned players, plus Quincy Owusu Abeyie), as well as the fifth in the Club’s history (Paul Quaye played for Atlético Malagueño).
