Medical report

Ramón will be 4-6 weeks with his shoulder immobilised

The Blue and White midfielder will miss out on the remainder of the season following surgery this afternoon in Madrid on the joint instability in his right shoulder.

Ramón Enríquez was operated on by Doctor José María Silberberg (in the above image with Ramón), at Clínica Universitaria Navarra in the Spanish capital.

Over the past two seasons, the homegrown player has suffered discomfort to the right shoulder, resulting in several dislocations, leading to a labral tear. Essentially, the operation focused on reattaching the labrum in the shoulder, which was carried out successfully.

The Granada-born player will remain in Madrid today and is due to return to Málaga tomorrow, where he will undergo his rehabilitation under the supervision of Málaga CF's medics.

Ramón will spend between 4 and 6 weeks with his right shoulder immobilised, during the first phase of his recovery. Subsequently, he will undertake specific joint mobility exercises, as well as physiotherapy treatment, gym cycling and continuous running in the last stage of his recovery before getting back on the pitch.

Get well soon Ramón! You’ll be back in no time!
