The dictionary definition of ‘routine’ is “a usual or fixed way of doing things”, but when you’re a Málaga Genuine player, you don’t know the meaning of that word as every training session is different from the one before, and there are always surprises.
This Thursday Dani Pacheco and Munir visited training to the excitement of all the team members. The happiness and admiration on the players’ faces was visible. As is the norm, the Genuine team players were bold and chatted to the two first team players naturally, asking them questions, to which they responded by telling them everything they wanted to know.
Both players signed autographs for everyone and posed for photos. However, the most special moment came when Munir gave his signed gloves to Málaga Genuine keeper, Miguel.
The goalkeeper and striker spoke to MCFTV about the training session they shared with Málaga CF EDI. Pacheco said he’d not experienced this in any other Club and stated they are a “pride for the Club”, and “an example” for everyone. “It’s possible that they help us more than we help them”, he commented. For his part, Munir thanked the players for their affection and talked about the gloves he gave to the goalkeeper: “He came up to me before a match and told me many positive things and said some wonderful words, I wanted to thank him which is why I gave him my gloves”, he said.
