LaLiga’s ‘Applause to Infinity’ at La Rosaleda

The initiative, undertaken by the Professional Football League, aims to bring fans closer to their team during the matches behind closed doors.

The return to competition is a reality. Málaga will be back at La Rosaleda on Friday 12th June at 19:30 against SD Huesca, as part of a new normal in which the stands will be empty as the match will be played behind closed doors.

As a result of this situation, LaLiga has launched the ‘Applause to Infinity’, an initiative allowing fans to be closer to the players during these games.

The project has a social nature and reminds us of all the heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Like we’ve seen over the past two months, with the balconies and windows throughout Spain full of applause for healthcare workers every night at 8pm, the ‘Applause to Infinity’ will be heard in the 20th minute of every match. It will be unique and heard in unison, uniting fans around the world.

To achieve this objective, LaLiga has created the www.aplausoinfinito.es website, where fans can share their applause for all the heroes of the pandemic, that will be played in minute 20 of each game.

This applause will help build a monument in memory of the effort made to overcome this crisis.
