Around 14:00, in the VIP area in the Tribuna section of the Martiricos stadium, a large number of the Blue and White veterans enjoyed a festive lunch. Present at the event were honorary presidents of the association, Abdullah Ben Barek and Antonio Benítez, as well as the guest appearance of sports deputy at the Diputación Provincial de Málaga, Cristóbal Ortega.
Manolo Gaspar and ‘Koke’ Contreras, amongst many others, former players who form part of the board of directors presided by Ernesto Terrón, toasted to a 2019 full of success, without forgetting 2018 when Málaga CF Forever were proclaimed Andalusian and state champions.
The good atmosphere and interest in watching Málaga’s match in Oviedo marked a special Christmas dinner for the Malaguista veterans.
