Málaga Forever bring the Liga Solidaria to a close

The team of former Málaga players, true to tradition, took part once again in this charitable competition, with the proceeds from the matches going to associations that fight cancer and to families in need.

The Málaga Forever have concluded another edition of the Liga Solidaria, a project that, from its kick-off on 6th September in Alozaina to its finale on 9th November in Coín, once again combined football, excitement, and social commitment at each stop across the province.

The team of former Blue and White players, including well-known names such as Catanha, De Los Santos, Koke Contreras, Calatayud, Josemi, Juanito, Manolo Gaspar, and Juan Rodríguez, keeps alive a tradition that brings Malaguismo closer to hundreds of fans.

Yet the essence of the Liga Solidaria goes beyond the pitch. The funds raised and the support generated at each match are directed to associations that fight cancer, groups carrying out essential social work, and families in need of assistance in difficult circumstances. In this way, sport becomes a vehicle for help, unity, and hope.

Once again, this project would not have been possible without the crucial support of the Diputación de Málaga, whose commitment sustains and drives forward an initiative that continues to grow and bring joy to towns across the province.
