The Málaga CF player had a bilateral pubic tenotomy, via surgery of the long adductor tendon (similar to Juanpi). The operation, undertaken this morning, lasted some 40 minutes and was carried out at Hospital Quirón in Barcelona by doctor Ramón Cugat.
Atlético Malagueño doctor, José Luis Carballeda, accompanied Javi Ontiveros, who will recuperate during the pre-season, pending the development of his recovery for his return to the pitch.
