Sandro part of Spain’s winning starting line-up

The Blue and Whites’ striker was in Spain’s starting-11 in the under-21s European tournament taking place in Poland. It was a clear win for the national side against Macedonia, by 5-0.

Sandro Ramírez played as a centre forward on the Spanish attack, in which Marco Asensio excelled with three superb goals. Saúl Ñíguez opened the scoring with a bicycle kick, and Deulofeu scored from the penalty spot against Macedonia.

The Canaries-born striker was substituted in the second half by Athletic Club winger, Iñaki Williams, in minute 74, when Spain had a 5-0 lead. An impeccable debut for Albert Celades’ team, who are leading Group B in the tournament along with Portugal, who defeated Serbia by 2-0.
