“We had the match under control, but made mistakes in those final five minutes. The team, since they entered the dressing room, have been thinking about next weekend and making a comeback. We have confidence in ourselves, we’ve played every home game very well, and if there’s a team capable of a comeback it’s us, and that’s what we’re focused on”.

“Of course, you can always do more. They brought out an extremely strong, physical nine, but that’s no excuse. We made two errors that the rival could just as easily make in the return leg. We’ll begin preparations for this match on Tuesday, and work on turning the result around”.

Mentality at home

“We’re psyched up, and at home we know our game is going to be different to here. We knew that we had to come and fight, there’d be many second plays, jumps, and throw-ins would be like corners, so we had to maintain our concentration. At home, we know we’ll have possession, so we’ll close ranks and do everything possible to come from behind and move up to Second B”.
