Francisco Javier López Bravo (Málaga, 1974) had a long and successful coaching career with CD Rincón, spending three seasons in Group IX of the Third Division after promoting from Primera Andaluza with the team.
In the 2018/19 season, he joined Málaga CF as coach of the Juvenil ‘A’ team in División de Honor. In the 2020/21 campaign, he began a new phase at Málaga CF, working alongside Juan Francisco Funes at Atlético Malagueño.
Over the past six seasons, Bravo has served as the right-hand man to the new first-team coach, except for his period as assistant coach of Málaga CF at the end of the 2021/22 season and the start of 2022/23.
As a player, he was a key figure and captain of Atlético Malagueño as the Blue and White first team (1992–94) and Málaga CF, enjoying a long career from 1994 to 2003, rising from the Third to the First Division as one of the club’s top defenders.
Francis Bravo will make his debut this Saturday as head coach of Club Atlético Malagueño in the match against FC La Unión Atlético, corresponding to matchday 12 of Segunda Federación Group 4, taking place at the Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF starting at 18:00.
