Míchel González arrived last season during a very difficult situation, and the coach was able to turn things around and end the season in a mid-table position. Unfortunately, since the beginning of this campaign, the team has been unable to achieve a string of good results to move out of the relegation zone, and the Club deems this action necessary to seek that reaction.
Málaga CF and its sports management are working hard during this winter transfer window to reinforce the squad. Ignasi Miquel, Manuel Iturra and Alberto Bueno are three players who have joined the Club and made their immediately. The Club continues making arrangements for the arrival of more players who, together with the change of coach, will provide a turnaround from this negative dynamic of results, and bring a new motivation to the group and the fans.
