Málaga CF Femenino defeated AD El Naranjo de Córdoba by 0-3 on matchday 22 of Segunda División Femenina Group IV. The goals from Adriana, who has now scored a total of 39 this season, and Noelia, led Antonio Contreras’ girls to another victory, keeping them at the top of the standings with 59 points.
The Malaguistas got off to a high-intensity start from the outset. So much so, after two minutes, Adriana hooked the ball inside the small area to open the scoring (0-1). From then on, Málaga dominated play. In 15’, Paula attempted to increase her team’s lead, but came up against Zou who prevented a second goal for the visitors. The Malaguistas were all over the rival, but at half-time only maintained a 0-1 lead.
During the second half, Málaga continued to dominate on the field of play. However, the girls didn’t manage to refine their aim towards the Naranjo goal. The substitution of Encarni for Shiv provided a morale boost for the Blue and Whites, and in 59’, a throw-in by the English player led to goal number two. The ball landed at Sheila’s feet, who made the perfect pass to Adriana to score again and widen the gap (0-2). With the match almost sealed, the referee awarded a penalty in favour of the Blue and Whites. Noelia, who came on in place of Paula, converted to secure the final 0-3 triumph.
