Málaga CF face a top-of-the-table clash this Sunday as they host CD Argual at 12:00 at the Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF, with the league leadership at stake.

After six matches, the Blue and Whites sit second in the table with 16 points from a possible 18, level on points with their upcoming opponents, who lead the standings thanks to a superior goal difference.

The Blue and Whites remain unbeaten, having recorded five wins and one draw, scoring 15 goals and conceding four.

CD Argual are also unbeaten and boast the division’s strongest defensive record, having conceded just once in six games. The visitors have also scored 17 goals, two more than Málaga.

Héctor Díaz’s side will look to make home advantage count and claim all three points, which would see them leapfrog their opponents and move to the top of the table. Sección Deportiva Fundación Real Betis Balompié are close behind in third place with 14 points.

A tough test lies ahead, but Málaga will have the backing of their home fans. Vamos, Málaga!
