The MCF Foundation and remote solidarity

The Malaguista organisation hasn’t stopped during these months of lockdown and has kept up the pace of activity, undertaking several large social projects.

The MCF Foundation has become a much-loved and highly respected institution within Málaga society. The secret? Hard, tireless and very effective work.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought the majority of the world to a standstill. Professional activity reduced to a minimum and, except for those functions that could be carried out remotely, work activities froze. Members of the MCF Foundation, like the rest of the country, remained at home during lockdown, but never stopped, or even slowed down, the pace of work.

They got to work from the outset. They quickly adapted to their roles and carried out different projects in order to collaborate with various causes.

As such, from home and via several ‘Zoom’ meetings, the Solidarity Shirt and ‘Nieto Malaguista’ were born, ‘Mascarillas Para Toda Málaga’, ‘Proyecto Potito’ and Malaguista Visors were promoted and various activities were carried out by the ‘Suprcapacitad@s’ School. In addition, the project for the upcoming season continued.

Lucas Rodríguez, coordinator and Sebastián Fernández Reyes, ‘Basti’, from the Social Department head up the Foundation and explained to MCFTV in detail about their incredible work during lockdown.
