With the aim of contributing in the fight to eradicate coronavirus, the Málaga CF Foundation has designed this shirt which features the recently transformed Málaga shield. This shield is a symbol of the fight against coronavirus and is the Club’s avatar on all the Entity’s social networks.
The Foundation decided to design the shirt including the shield for its symbolism. Málaga CF’s new shield in the fight against coronavirus is made up of three different parts: our shield, a heart and the symbol of infinity.
The heart blends together with our shield as a tribute to all those people who give their hearts every day in the fight to stop COVID-19. As well as all the healthcare workers, the Club sends support to everyone working hard to ensure the running of our country, so we have the minimum essential services. From transport, food and cleaning firms, state security forces and many, many more. This is our way of saying Málaga Club de Fútbol is with them and wholeheartedly supporting them.
The infinity symbol joins the heart and shield in tribute to those who are no longer with us. Our condolences to their families and friends. This is our commitment to them that they will never be forgotten. All the victims are eternal and will live forever in our memory.
The shirt is on sale in Málaga Club de Fútbol’s online store priced at €9,95, with the proceeds going towards the fight against COVID-19. People who purchase this shirt will have to wait until the state of alarm has come to an end, and once the social situation has re-stabilised, will be able to collect them from the Official Store at La Rosaleda. Junior sizes are also available. We remind you that the season ticket holder discount doesn’t apply as it is a social action.
