Adrián: “It’s important to stay focused and recover”

The Blue and White captain spoke to MCFTV in the run-up to the match against Extremadura UD. “I’ve recovered from the discomfort I sustained from the match in Tenerife and am ready to compete tomorrow if the coach sees fit”.

Recovered

“I can’t wait for tomorrow’s match and winning again following the return of the competition. I’ve recovered from the discomfort I sustained from the match in Tenerife and am ready to compete tomorrow if the coach sees fit”.

Extremadura UD

“They’re going to be a tough rival, a very good team despite where they are in the standings. In the last games we played against them, it was a struggle, which is another part of the challenge we must overcome. We’re eager to win, move up the table and bring joy to our fans, which we haven’t done since the competition resumed”.

Point against CD Tenerife

“It’s important to stay focused, recover quickly from the match and within two days we have another chance in the competition. We took the point as positive we won the other day for how the match was played, the team worked until the end. A little bit of good luck came into it, but under the circumstances we’re happy with the point and will try to make the most of it in this upcoming home game”.

Reserve team players

“Due to the number of registrations we have, it’s difficult to make rotations and allow players to rest. So, we just go with it. We’ve competed in worse circumstances in the season, we’re focused on that, and when the time comes for the lads to step on to the pitch, they’ll be ready”.

Message to the fans

“We’ve had worse times and they’ve always been there. They are crucial to the Club and the players, and in this new stage of the competition we’re missing them, but we must learn to play without them being there. The time will come when they can return to the stadium and we can all be together”.
