‘Give Your Clothes a Second Life’ charity campaign

The Málaga CF Foundation is launching a charity second hand clothing collection throughout September. Donation points will be available at La Rosaleda and the Ciudad Deportiva.

The MCF Foundation is launching the ‘Give Your Clothes a Second Life’ charity campaign, encouraging people to give a second life to clothes they no longer use but which could still be useful to someone else.

Running throughout September, the campaign combines the traditional post-summer wardrobe clear-out with an opportunity to make a difference by donating unwanted clothes. Several collection points will be available, where people can drop off clean, good-condition second-hand clothing that is free from tears and stains.

On matchdays at La Rosaleda, donations will be collected exclusively before the game at the designated point next to Gate 16. The collection will be available ahead of the matches against Levante UD on Sunday 6 September at 18:30 and Villarreal CF on Thursday 17 September at 21:30. The collection box will be available from 90 minutes before kick-off for each match.

From 7 September onwards, donations can be made at the permanent collection points at the official Málaga CF Store at La Rosaleda, during its usual opening hours, and at the Ciudad Deportiva. Both collection points will remain available throughout the campaign.

The clothing collected will be donated to Asociación Casa de la Buena Vida and Afesol, organisations working to promote the inclusion and wellbeing of people in vulnerable situations.

Through this initiative, the MCF Foundation is encouraging supporters and the wider Málaga community to make the most of their post-summer wardrobe clear-out by turning clothes they no longer need into an opportunity to help others.
