MCF Foundation recognised at the 2026 Málaga Nursing Awards
The Blue and White Foundation has received this recognition from the Official College of Nursing of Málaga for its commitment to inclusion, health promotion and improving quality of life through sport.
The Málaga CF Foundation has been recognised with one of the 2026 Málaga Nursing Awards, presented by the Official College of Nursing of Málaga as part of its Members’ Day celebrations on 21st August.
The award recognises the social work carried out by the MCF Foundation through sport, particularly its commitment to inclusion, health promotion and improving the quality of life of people and groups in particularly vulnerable situations.
The award was collected by Sebastián Fernández ‘Basti’, ambassador and leading figure of the MCF Foundation, who also addressed the guests during the gala. He was joined by Antonio Noel and Rafael Gómez, players from the Málaga CF Foundation’s Supercapacitad@s School, representing one of the projects that best showcases the organisation’s commitment to inclusive sport.
The Official College of Nursing of Málaga highlighted the MCF Foundation’s ability to create opportunities, promote social inclusion and contribute to wellbeing through initiatives that use sport as a tool for social transformation.
The recognition has a special connection with the values of nursing, which are rooted in care, support, empowerment and the creation of a healthier and more inclusive society.
For the Málaga CF Foundation, the award recognises everyone involved in its social projects, as well as the work carried out throughout the season to make sport a tool for inclusion, education and wellbeing.
