Sandro will recover from his muscular discomfort in Málaga

Sandro Ramírez, who yesterday suffered a muscular strain in the match against Leganés, won’t be joining Spain’s under-21s, and will recover from his physical pain in Málaga.

Sandro, substituted by Keko in minute 70 of #LeganésMálaga, was called-up by Spain’s under-21s for two upcoming friendlies against Denmark and Italy.

Following the MRI scan undertaken this morning at Clínicas Rincón-La Rosaleda, the diagnostic tests confirmed a muscular injury (Grade I) in the hamstring of Sandro’s right leg, pending development.

As such, the Blue and Whites’ striker will remain in Málaga, and not form part of Alberto Celades’ under-21s line-up.
