Return to training with emphasis on physical activity
Málaga CF resumed training this morning at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium, following a day off yesterday. A good part of the session was marked by physical activity, as the team returned to work.
Physical exercises dominated the first part of training, whilst in the second half, the starting players against Leganés moved to the gym. The substitutes and non-called-up players from last Sunday’s gameworked with the ball in the final stage of the session. Kameni completed training normally, accompanied by reserve team goalkeepers; Guille Lara and Aarón, however the latter was forced to abandon the session early as he suffered a heavy blow to his right ankle.
Charles, suffering from a blow to his left ankle, remained in the stadium’s interior galleries this morning; Duda underwent specific training along with Juanpi; and Sandrohad recovery treatment due to the injury on his right leg. Separately from the group, Recio and reserve team goalkeeper, Samu Casado trained on the pitch using the ball, whilst Ontiveros underwent solitary continuous running. Luis Muñoz and Kuki Zalazar from the reserve team were training at full capacity this morning.
Internationals; Boyko, Mikel, Peñaranda and En-Nesyri were absent, whilst Koné returned to Málaga to continue his rehabilitation from his long-term injury. Kuzmanovic remains in Switzerland.
Tomorrow, Wednesday from 10:30, Málaga will resume training at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
