New dugouts, exits for the players and referees directly from the dressing room to the pitch, the colour blue dominating the stands and a directors’ box (see image gallery here). These are just some of the key changes made by Málaga CF to the ‘Federación Malagueña’ ground, but there’s more.
The separation dividing the field of play from the stands has been recovered, to improve security for the players. New billboards have been installed as well as power points for the press. Other new features include improvements to the borders of the pitch, and greater control of access to the dressing rooms, exclusively for players and referees.
A new look endorsed by Club president, Abdullah Al Thani, who is a regular at reserve team matches, coinciding at the last game between Atlético Malagueño and CD El Palo with new first team coach, Míchel.
