Málaga CF Femenino remain on a roll. Héctor Díaz’s side earned their third consecutive victory after defeating Guiniguada Apolinario CD 1–2 at the Municipal Parque Atlántico ground in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A character-filled comeback on matchday 10 of Group 3 in the Segunda Federación.
The Málaga coach opted for a starting-11 made up of: Amor Leigh; L. Herrera, Marina, Yoli Peche, M. Farfán (c); Andrea Ríos, Noemi; Futu, Alicia, Elena; Arantxa.
The match began evenly, with Málaga pushing for a goal through several attacking moves, such as a header from Lorena Herrera after an 18th-minute corner that went wide. Despite their efforts, the score remained unchanged before the break, and both teams headed to the dressing rooms level at 0–0.
In the second half, the home side took the lead in the 58th minute thanks to a goal from Natalia Herrera (1–0). Málaga’s response was immediate. Héctor Díaz made a double substitution in minute 62, bringing on Andrea Herrero and Encarni for Futu and Elena. Just seven minutes later, Andrea Ríos equalised (1–1).
Málaga CF Femenino kept pushing and managed to turn the score around in the 79th minute with another goal, this time from Andrea Herrero, who sealed the final 1–2. In the closing stages, Díaz brought on Belén, Yessenia and Valeriano for Lorena Herrera, Arantxa and Noemí.
With this new victory, Málaga CF Femenino now have three consecutive wins and continue climbing the table, strengthening the positive momentum of recent matches.
