Málaga CF Femenino will host Sportextremadura CD this Sunday 19th October at the Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF. The match, corresponding to the 7th round of Group 3 in the Segunda Federación, will kick off at 16:00.
Héctor Díaz’s side will be looking to return to winning ways after two consecutive defeats: a narrow home loss against CD Getafe Femenino (0–1) and, more recently, an away defeat to Fundación Cajasol Sporting de Huelva (2–0). With seven points on the board, the Malaguistas currently sit in 11th place in the standings.
Facing them will be the current leader of the division. Sportextremadura CD, recently promoted to the Segunda Federación, have earned 15 points thanks to a strong start to the season with five wins and just one defeat. The team arrives in Málaga in great form after a 5–1 thrashing of CFF Cáceres Atlético in the previous round, featuring a familiar face in their squad, former Málaga player Félicité.
With the support of their fans, MCFF will look to make their home ground a fortress once again and return to winning ways in the competition.
