Málaga Club de Fútbol Femenino return to action this Sunday 7th September with the start of the 2025/26 season. The Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF will host the Málaga team’s first match of the season, where they will face CD Femarguín Spar Gran Canaria kicking off at 12:00.
Last season saw each team claim one victory in their two league encounters. On matchday 4 of the 24/25 season, the Blue and Whites won 2-1 at La Rosaleda, with goals from Arantxa Medina and Andrea Herrero, in a special match marking the women’s team’s return to the Malaguista stadium. In the second half of the season, the Canarian side triumphed 3-2 at the Municipal de Arguineguín, with Málaga goals from Kruijthof and Arantxa.
After several weeks of preparation during the preseason, Héctor Díaz’s team arrives at the season opener with renewed enthusiasm, a good number of new signings, and the firm goal of starting the campaign by giving their best performance in front of the Malaguista fans.
