Málaga CF Female
Presentation of Femenino with a warm welcome from the whole Club

The season opening event was held at the ‘Juan Cortés’ press room, with welcome speeches from judicial administrator, José María Muñoz; the Club’s sports director, Manolo Gaspar; and coordinator of this section, Raúl Iznata.

Nati Gutiérrez’s girls were reunited after almost half a year (the last match Femenino played was on 29th February), to kick off the 20/21 campaign during which the team will compete in the Reto Iberdrola. The women’s team is integrated into the Club’s Sports Department, under the management of sports director, Manolo Gaspar. This is one of the four departments within Málaga CF, a move undertaken by the judicial administrator, José María Muñoz, who also values the sense of belonging to the Entity. The women’s team coordinator, Raúl Iznata explained to the players all the aspects related to the day to day work.

In addition, team coach Nati Gutiérrez, plus MCFF ambassador, Manuel Hernández Navarrete conveyed their enthusiasm for the new challenges in the upcoming season.

The girls returned to training this Monday morning, with the medical checks undertaken in groups of three players at CAMD (Andalusian Centre for Sports Medicine), which will continue until Thursday. On Tuesday morning, the players will undertake physical tests in the medical room and the gym at La Rosaleda. Work on the pitch is scheduled for Wednesday.
