Not everyone can say that their LaLiga debut took place at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, that they were in the starting line-up, and the match ended in a draw. Blue and Whites’ midfielder, Pablo Fornals can, as he moved from competing in Third Division grounds to one of the most important stadiums in Spanish football.

“It was a dream debut. I remember my father came to the stadium. At the end of the match, I remember seeing him with a big smile on his face, almost crying. Every time I think about it I nearly cry too”! says the first team player.

This weekend, Pablo Fornals returns to a very special stadium he will always remember: “I’m no longer the young boy from the reserve team who struggled to make a pass. Little by little my teammates have trusted in me more, I’m improving and I help to better my teammates”.
