Míchel: “We’ve got a good team, and we’re going to show it”

The coach conveys a message of unity and affirms that “winning in the First Division is difficult, but we have to know and trust as we did when we arrived in March”.

Self-critical

“Self-criticism begins with me, and we’re seeking solutions. The team is much better, physically, than when we started training in July. The ideas are similar to those we want to develop in our game, but there are certain ideas we want to change, and on paper, in training sessions we’ve done so. The team has turned to a different form of play.

“What we must do is know and trust that we’ve got a good team, and we’re going to show it. Winning in the First Division is difficult, but we have to know and trust as we did when we arrived in March”.

Union

“The first ones who want Málaga to win are us - our fans, who have always been here, the owners of course, our sports director, the coach, the players…As such, I send a message of unity. I think it’s fantastic that tomorrow the fans will be rising above the problems with the scheduling, it’s always better to put up a united front, as becoming divided is not the way forward”.

Las Palmas

“When you have zero points and have lost two games, doubts begin to emerge for everyone. They are a team with some high-level players, and in this First Division there’s great equality, and everyone goes through delicate situations. Las Palmas will have to find their place throughout the season, as will we”.

Aim

“We’ll do our best to play well tomorrow, to try and win. The schedule is the least thing to worry about, it’s tough to beat any team, more so in this League, which is of a supremely high standard”.
