Competition

“The fact it’s tough to win a game is logical and important, it means there’s competition. What isn’t normal is winning games by 8-0, 7-2, that detracts from the competition and takes away the essence of women’s football, which is exciting until the end”.

Fans

“We must thank the fans for travelling to Cártama. During the final stretch of play they gave the team a boost when they started to chant “Vamos Málaga”, and that’s when we scored the second goal”.

Clean sheet

“Maintaining a clean sheet is another of the things we’ve been working on, and will continue to work on. Not conceding a goal,10 goals in two games, and moving forward. In addition, the important thing is now we’re regaining players”.

Rotation

“It’s essential to make rotations, and give opportunities to the girls who have come from the B team who last season didn’t play, and who are now contributing, and with a 1-0 lead have played. They’re not playing the minutes nobody wants, they’re playing important minutes. Furthermore, the attitude of the entire group must be highlighted”.
