A weekend marked by the suspension of numerous games due to the weather. The Sanlúcar reserve team claimed their first point of the season and Bravo’s Juvenil ‘A’ team enjoyed a big home win.

Atlético Malagueño

A goalless draw on the debut of new reserve team coach, Manolo Sanlúcar on league matchday 9. There was an excellent start to this home game against a solid Jumilla. Play became more equal in the second half, with Kellyan making a fantastic double intervention to prevent the visitors taking the lead. In stoppage time, 90’, Joel narrowly missed out on the winning goal for Malagueño with a double chance at close range.

Juvenil DH

A big win this weekend for Francis Bravo’s team against Tomares (4-0) at Ciudad Deportiva de El Viso. Benítez, César, Vicario and Bilal scored the Malaguista goals. After nine matches, Málaga CF remains undefeated (five victories, four draws), the highest scoring team of Group 4 (29 goals) and are four points behind leaders of the standings (Sevilla FC).
