Press conference

“There’s no rest in LaLiga 1|2|3, you need to be at 100 per cent”

Malaguista forward Dani Pacheco analyses the team during the presentation of ‘La Rosaleda Liga Edición Especial de San Miguel: “There’ll be good and bad times” he told the press.

Follow the same line of work

“The team is as it’s been up to now, focused on our work, following the same line, we know the competition is long and tough. We’re not going to win every game, there’ll be defeats and draws. We’re already concentrating on next Monday’s game, against Numancia, which will be a difficult match here at home. We’ll continue on the same line we have up to now”.

You can’t always win

“I think we’ve played five away games and won two, nearly half in the competition, and I think no one has won away from home on this matchday. We’ve visited two of the recently relegated teams, we drew against one when we deserved more, and in the other I don’t believe we deserved to lose. These are games you always want to dominate, but it’s not always possible. The most important thing is to dominate the areas, Elche were better than us at doing so, and won the game. We had an opportunity beforehand to go in front. I think the team is showing solidity, competing in every match, is winning or close to winning every game and, as it’s such a hard competition, there’ll be good and bad times”.

Playing 90 minutes

“That’s for the coach to decide. My job is to show every day that I’m ready to play 90 minutes, the coach is the one who makes the decision and I’m sure every member of the team wants to play all minutes, as do I. We’re working hard so that the coach takes us into account”.

The standings are close

“I think that the situation doesn’t change anything. We lost an away game and now have to try and win the three points here, then the next match and the next… There’s no rest in this competition, you need to be at 100 per cent every week”.
