“It’s very special for us Panamanians as it’s the first participation in an event of this magnitude. We are truly excited about it. I think Panama will surprise us in this competition. They’re preparing well and could surprise everyone”.

World Cup generation

“This generation that qualified formed part of a stage when I was just finishing. In the end it’s a prize for so many failed attempts and a reward for those who achieved it”.

Love for Spain

“If Panama gets to play Spain it’ll be a good sign as it will mean Panama has passed the group stage. Hopefully (…) A piece of my heart is with the other red shirt, from Spain, and I hope they do well”.

Panamá and Málaga

“There is already a link between the Panamanians with Málaga and Málaga with Panama as well, so the people here in Málaga will also be aware of Panama’s participation in the World Cup”.
