Statements by Ruth Acedo

“It’s an honour for myself and my teammates to be here today. Thanks to the president, Susana Díaz for this welcome and recognition, and also to the Andalusian government delegate in Málaga, José Luis Ruiz Espejo for hosting us at his home. The fact we’re here shows that things went well, we fulfilled our objectives and we achieved them with the support of our fans and institutions such as the Junta de Andalucía. We’re going to give our all for this shield and hope to take the Andalucía name all over Spain and put it in the place it deserves”.

Statements by Susana Díaz

“It’s very difficult to visualise women’s sport, so it’s wonderful that you’re in the First Division along with the other three Andalusian teams. It’s so important, and the effort we have to make is greater so that everything surrounding women’s sport reaches the place it deserves. I want those of you practicing the sport, those who help you and make up the coaching team to know you are strongly supported by the Andalusian government”.
