Águeda González Sanz (Málaga, 01/09/2003) is a powerful and talented central defender, 1,70 metres tall, who will bring a great deal of competitiveness to the Malaguista defence.
She returns home after having played in the Blue and White youth ranks between 2015 and 2020. In the 20/21 season she played in Castellón and last 21/22 season in La Solana, competing both years in the former Reto Iberdrola league.
At national team level, Águeda has been part of the Málaga (2014-20) and Andalusian (2014-19) teams, serving as captain, and has also participated with Spain’s youth teams between 2017 and 2021.
Statistically, in the previous year she made 75% of successful passes, won 65% of defensive duels and 60% of aerial duels. She stands out for her good tactical positioning, accuracy on long balls and excellent match reading.
A very young player but with an important background, who is committed to the club where she trained, and with which she wants to continue growing individually and collectively. Welcome home, Agueda!
