Wanting to know more about International Childhood Cancer Day, Málaga Club de Fútbol players Cazorla, Demichelis and Camacho visited Málaga’s Hospital Materno Infantil Carlos Haya to give a message of hope.
With it being International Childhood Cancer Day, Málaga Club de Fútbol visited the oncology department at the Málaga’s Hospital Materno Infantil Carlos Haya to spend time with the hospitalised kids, offering support to their families, and getting to know more about their battles to overcome the illness.
Santi Cazorla, Ignacio Camacho and Martin Demichelis learnt first hand the situation of 15 children who are currently suffering from different types of cancers and how important it is to detect tumours as early as possible - an idea that is actively promoted during International Childhood Cancer Day.
The Malaguistas greeted every one of the children and then spoke to their families and the medical professionals about the different stages of the illness and the various treatments undertaken to improve their quality of life
