Málaga CF Femenino is shaping up its team ahead of the start of pre-season training. The decision to maintain the majority of the team and commit to homegrown players has taken effect in recent weeks, which is again highlighted today with the renewal of goalkeeper Lucía Martín (15/06/2001) and left-back Marina Gálvez (10/03/2001).
Both are from the MCF Academy and were part of the women’s first team last season, and therefore understand perfectly the work proposed by Nati Gutiérrez.
Following the contract signing, both players had a chat with MCFTV. “I hope for sporting and individual development, and that the same team and training will be maintained. I’m delighted with the continuity of numerous teammates and coaching team. I can’t wait for this season to start”, said Lucía.
For her part, Marina is also thrilled: “I’m so happy to have renewed with Málaga, I hope to be here for many years. My goal is to move up to the First Division with this team and help as much as possible”.
