Málaga CF and its Foundation present ‘Blue and Whites’ Values’

Málaga Club de Fútbol, via its Foundation, and with the collaboration of the La Caixa Social Project, presented the ‘Blue and Whites’ Values’ campaign at La Asunción School this Monday 16th November.

First team player, Ignacio Camacho had an active role in the launch of this campaign, now in its second edition, and will tour schools in and around Málaga to convey to students the importance of healthy habits, sport and fair play.  On behalf of the Martiricos outfit, along with the ‘Malaguista’ player was Vicente Casado, director general; Manuel Novo, corporate director; José María Arrabal, business development director; and Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’ representing the Málaga CF Foundation’s Social Department.  Victorino Lluch, the regional director of CaixaBank in eastern Andalucía was also present, and Cristóbal Jiménez, director of business at the bank in Málaga, all showing their support for the importance of this campaign in schools.

The launch event, which lasted for an hour and a half, saw the ‘Malaguistas’ receive a very warm welcome from the 250 school children present, beginning at around 3:30 p.m.  A series of talks were later held in the auditorium of Rubén Castillo’s School (La Academia player) as master of ceremonies, with Carmen Santos taking part (school director); Chelsea (Atlético Málaga goalkeeper) and the aforementioned Vicente Casado, Victorino Lluch and Camacho, the latter who answered questions from the children.  To end the event, the Club presented CEIP La Asunción with a poster gift as a ‘Malaguista’ member.
