Arrival of group training
“We’re so happy, we’ve all talked about it. The first week is all about solitary training which we don’t like. We like to be in groups, work with the ball and play matches amongst ourselves and feel what we felt before. Tomorrow we can do that. We’re happy to see how everything is developing”
Progress each week
“Last week we thought we’d be training like this for more than a week, and in seven days we’ve managed to reach training in groups of 10. Hopefully within a couple of weeks we’ll all, or nearly all, be in training together again and can start LaLiga with ease.”
Eager to compete
“I can’t wait to return to competition, to play again at our stadium. It will be strange without the fans, as they really do help us a lot. We need to all be at 100 per cent, focused”.
Training at 100 per cent
“I’ve been training at home so as not to lose tone, and it’s the same here. Training at 100 per cent to be able to do my best on the pitch”.
