Atlético Malagueño defeated (1-5) River Melilla CF in the last match of the regular league season in Third Division Group 9. The Malaguistas were superior throughout the game, with goals from Nesyri, Cassano and a Jaime Moreno hat trick. With this result, Ruano’s boys become the highest-scoring reserve team in the Club’s history in the regular season (96 goals).
Atlético Mancha Real were also victorious at the Martos CD stadium by two goals to three. They take the group top spot over Atlético Malagueño due to direct goal difference.
For their part, Atlético Málaga beat CFF Badajoz Olivenza by four goals to two in the final match of Women’s Second Division Group 4. Noelia, Laura and Pamela (x2) scored the final Malaguista goals of this present league season.
