The young Malaguista players, as well as the coaching team, medics and auxiliary group of Sergio Pellicer’s squad, stepped on to the pitch at La Rosaleda stadium, to show off the Champions Cup they recently won in the ‘juvenil’ category, in Vera (Almería).
The fans celebrated with the young Blue and Whites’ players, during the prelude to the fiesta, as the first team went on to defeat Las Palmas by 4-1, ending LaLiga 2015/16 in a phenomenal eighth place.
MCF’s ‘Juvenil A’ team, league runners-up in Group 4 of the División de Honor juvenil, will be hoping to turn the result around in their third challenge of the season – Copa del Rey - in the return leg (lost 2-0 in the first leg) against Villarreal, coached by former Malaguista player, Javi Calleja.
