Juan Cruz: “I’m here, available to the coach for whatever he needs”

The homegrown player, having recovered from injury sustained earlier this season, is new to Monday’s training session. “I’m so happy to be here”, said the player, who grew up in Rincón de la Victoria, born in Quilmes (Argentina).

Incorporation

“I was looking forward to returning because, whether you like it or not, being stuck at home all day without being able to train with the ball or see your teammates is really tough”.

Happy

“There were rumours I was going to come back, but to begin with, LaLiga didn’t allow for a more extensive list of players, so I was left out. I’m happy to be here now though”.

Laughs

“It’s so good being back with my teammates, enjoying ourselves, having a laugh…it was hard being away from them, but I’m very pleased now”.

Lockdown

“I stayed at home with my family, which is also important. I also played tournaments on the playstation with my friends”.

Atlético Malagueño

“Within the reserve team we had videocalls every day, every week for the corresponding training sessions”.

Suspension of Third Division competition

“We all wanted to continue playing and finish the league. However, in terms of our health, it was the right thing to do”.

Excitement

“Playing at La Rosaleda has always been, and always will be, a dream for me. I’m here, available to the coach for whatever he needs”.
