The 2018/19 season is in its final stretch for Málaga CF, although the end of the elite competition allows many players to enjoy a summer break.
This has allowed numerous players who belonged to the Club to visit the Ciudad de Málaga stadium or La Rosaleda to greet former teammates, members of the coaching team, medics, assistants to the first team and office staff.
Amongst others, we’ve seen Ignacio Camacho; regular fixture and almost Malagueño, Weligton; homegrown players, Juanmi and Portillo; as well as players formed in the Academy including Pablo Fornals, south Americans, Gonzalo De los Santos and Manuel Iturra… And unforgettable figures for Malaguismo like Antonio Hidalgo, who this morning made the most of his visit to Málaga to say hello to old friends.
Everyone is united by the same affection for a Club where they left their mark and gave their best professional performance, earning the affection of the fans and the city they will never forget, and one that will never forget them. And all supporting ‘their’ Málaga on the team’s quest to return to the elite of Spanish football.
