The last day of competition in the Málaga Phase of LaLiga Genuine Santander. The MCF Foundation team played their third game in Grupo Compañerismo at La Rosaleda Stadium against UD Las Palmas, which kicked-off at 12:00.
Before the match got underway, president of the MCF Foundation and Málaga CF’s judicial administrator, José María Muñoz, and the delegate for Education and Sports at the Junta de Andalucía, Mercedes García Paine, greeted the team and cheered on Málaga Genuine throughout the morning.
Fernando Sanz, president of Fundación LaLiga Genuine, and Olga de la Fuente, president of Fundación LaLiga, also watched the game closely, that ended in a 2-1 win for Málaga Genuine.
Once again, the result was the least important aspect, and both teams staged a lesson in camaraderie and fair play. In the Fair Play standings, the MCF Foundation team has accumulated 172 points, in second place behind Club Gimnástic de Tarragona.
