Dotor: “The victory has made everyone happy, and a little more so for me”

The Blue and White midfielder, who was sent off during #MálagaRealSporting, stated: “I want to apologise to the fans and the whole team” for the red card. He also thanked everyone for their effort in securing the win.

2-1 review

“We started losing a few too many duels, and they were more intense, maybe because of how eager we were. Even with a man down, we still had chances and wore them out a lot. In that play, which I could have avoided, we ended up with 10 men. The team pushed hard, did a great job, and I’m very proud of them.”

Self-critical

“Many times I come out to speak when things are going well. And today I was wrong. I wanted to apologise to the fans and to the whole team, and also thank them. We’re still in the fight, and tomorrow I have another opportunity to show that I can keep playing and competing.”

Dressing room

“They came to support me. I was thinking about my own things, and they told me they were going for the win, and they did. I want to thank them for the huge effort they made. The victory has made everyone happy, and a little bit more so for me. I wanted to come out here to make it clear that I take responsibility for the mistake, but tomorrow I’ll be the first one at training, trying to earn my place again.”
