Diego Gallegos, the star of the run-up to #MCFvRMA

Brazilian chef, Diego Gallegos was the star of the event organised by the MCF Business Club at La Rosaleda, hours before the MálagaCF-Real Madrid CF match.

Yesterday afternoon at La Rosaleda stadium, the Málaga Club de Fútbol Business Club organised an event which was attended by prestigious chef, Diego Gallegos.  At 31 years of age, the Brazilian won the 2015 ‘Chef Revelación’ award, and his restaurant ‘El Sollo’, located in Hotel Double Tree by Hilton Resort Reserva del Higuerón, has already gained a Michelin star.

The event began at La Rosaleda’s press room, where the Head of Business Development at Málaga CF, José María Arrabal praised Gallegos: “He stands out as leader by using produce from the river, rather than the sea.  His ideas are interesting for life and for business,” he said at the start of a talk in which Diego explained that his restaurant “is very peculiar, with a concept that few people would dare to do.”

“We only work with fish from the river, farmed, in order to create a sustainable, ecological cuisine.  We started five years ago with caviar and sturgeon.  We look for different flavours to give customers a unique experience, relying on something that no one else does in Spain,” says Diego Gallegos, who was presented with a Málaga CF shirt bearing his name and signed by the first team, for his restaurant.

Later, in the Business Club stand located in the ‘preferencia’ section of the stadium, the Malaguista members enjoyed a dish prepared by Doña Francisquita Catering, as well as a tasting by the ‘Caviar Chef’, Diego Gallegos.
